Sabretooth also has developed a high resistance to telepathic probing and manipulation when his brain was sewed. Although his extreme arrogance gives him the appearance of stupidity, he is actually quite intelligent.

The most common story involves both of them being participants of the Weapon X super-soldier program. After Wolverine escapes and attempts to suppress his animalistic qualities, Sabretooth becomes obsessed with forcing Wolverine to embrace his feral instincts by tormenting him and ruining his life.

Sabretooth was also again manipulated by Mystique, who, for reasons of her own, seduced him in order to become pregnant with his child. However, the resultant son had no mutant potential and was abandoned by Mystique, growing up to become the anti-mutant activist Graydon Creed.

The Earth X version of Sabretooth is one of the most powerful and one of the most terrifying. His powers and abilities appear to be mostly the same, but he appears much larger than the normal one and is much more of a monstrous figure.
